Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using www.autotechlight.co.za or placing an order with us. By accessing this website or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Your Information & POPIA

Your personal information is confidential and will not be sold, shared, or used for any third-party marketing campaigns. ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

We collect your name, contact details, delivery address, and order information solely for the purposes of processing your order, verifying fitment, and communicating with you about your purchase. Your information is shared only with courier and payment service providers to the extent necessary to fulfil your order.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at info@autotechlight.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at www.inforegulator.org.za.


3. Pending Orders & Stock Holding

Stock will not be reserved for your order until payment has been received in full. Should payment not be received within 3 (three) business days of placing an order, the order will be cancelled.

ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD does not hold all listed products at its dispatch premises at all times. Some products are listed under supplier agreements and may be dispatched directly from a supplier’s premises, or ordered from a supplier once your payment is confirmed and then delivered to us for dispatch. You will be advised if this applies to your order.


4. Order Preparation

All confirmed orders are subject to a preparation turnaround time of 24 to 48 hours on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays). We will always endeavour to accommodate customer requests where reasonably possible.

Should a delay beyond 48 hours be anticipated, you will be notified with an updated estimated dispatch date.


5. Payment

Your order will only be prepared once payment has been received in full.

Our preferred payment method is Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Please note that EFT payments may take longer to reflect if you do not bank with Capitec Business, First National Bank, Nedbank, or Standard Bank. Other payment methods are available as displayed at checkout.


6. Shipping & Delivery

ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD ships nationally across South Africa via third-party courier and logistics providers. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout and are generally for the customer’s account.

Where the total volume or weight of an order cannot be accurately accommodated within the displayed shipping rate, you will be contacted with a revised cost before dispatch and may elect to proceed or cancel your order.

ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD insures shipments up to a standard declared value. This insurance may not cover the full value of all shipments. If you require additional cover, please contact us before your order is dispatched. Additional cover is generally charged at 5% (five percent) of the total shipment value.

ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD cannot accept liability for damage or theft during transit beyond the insured value. Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by our courier partners and are not guaranteed.


7. Fitment Verification

Where an order appears to contain a potentially incorrect fitment or incompatible part, ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD will contact you before dispatch to verify the order. This is a service commitment and does not override your responsibility to ensure the correct part has been ordered.


8. Returns, Refunds & Warranty

ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD complies with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). Products carry an implied warranty of quality in terms of Section 56 of the CPA. Where a product is found to be defective, unsafe, or not reasonably suitable for its intended purpose within 6 (six) months of delivery, you are entitled to request a repair, replacement, or full refund.

Warranty claims must be submitted by contacting us via WhatsApp at 066 224 5324 or email at info@autotechlight.co.za, with proof of purchase and a description of the defect. The defective product must be returned before a replacement or refund is processed.

Warranty claims will not be accepted where the defect is found to be the result of user error, negligent or incorrect installation, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear. ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD reserves the right to assess all warranty claims before approving a remedy.

Products that have been installed, used, or modified are not eligible for return unless found to be defective under the CPA warranty provisions above.


9. Typographical Errors

In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD reserves the right to cancel and refund any orders placed at the incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed. Where payment has already been processed, a full refund will be issued within 7 business days. We will contact you with the correct price and give you the option to proceed or cancel.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of products purchased from this website, or damage to persons, property, or vehicles arising from the negligent installation or misuse of products.

This limitation does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other applicable South African legislation.


11. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, and code — is the property of ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD and is protected under the Copyright Act 98 of 1978. You may view or print content for personal, non-commercial use only. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of content from this website without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

All trademarks, trade names, and service marks displayed on this website are the property of ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD or their respective owners.


12. Direct Marketing & Opt-Out

ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD will only send direct marketing communications where you have opted in, or where there is an existing customer relationship. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any marketing message or by contacting us at info@autotechlight.co.za. Opt-out requests will be processed within 5 (five) business days.


13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute may be referred to the National Consumer Commission at www.thencc.org.za (0860 266 786) or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud at www.cgso.org.za (0860 000 272).


14. Consumer Protection Act

ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD complies with all applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and will not infringe on the CPA or any applicable laws within the Republic of South Africa. We reserve the right to refuse service where permitted by law, to protect both ATL Autotechlight (PTY) LTD and the customer.
